Therapeutic services can be useful for a range of problems, such as explosive childhood behaviours, excessive worry, depression, and social difficulties. We value teamwork in order to find ways that work better for you and your family by considering your unique strengths and needs.
Therapy services are based on evidence (i.e., research) and are offered to children, adolescents, and their parents or caregivers. Our main approach is based on cognitive behavioral therapy, complemented by strategies from other approaches, such as emotion-based family therapy (for parents), dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
Psychoeducational and/or neuropsychological assessments at the Colibri Centre aim to better understand the unique strengths and challenges of your child or adolescent in their learning and development. This service offers an in-depth analysis of cognitive abilities, executive functions, and socio-emotional profile to identify learning disabilities, attention disorders, or other difficulties. Through a personalized assessment, we help you better identify your child's needs and define strategies and interventions adapted to promote their success and development, both at school and at home.
